FDC’s highly popular annual Platform showcases and celebrates Dance works created in Education. 'Educate' provides young people at Secondary, FE & HE level the rewarding opportunity to share their work in a professional setting with a supportive Dance community and receive a digital recording.

Linked with our aspirational ‘Moving Beyond’ programme, ‘Educate’ platform participants will also benefit from next step progression & career guidance activities delivered as part of the event.

Dynamic Youth

FDC’s hugely successful annual platform unites an inspiring and influential young generation to share, showcase and celebrate the high standards of Youth Dance from across the Midlands. Each year FDC calls out for Youth Companies, Youth groups, Youth Crews & Independent works created by Youth Artists to apply to be part of this explosive event.
